Project Overview
The building has a distinctive design, incorporating a cupola and wall louvers that allow outside air to cool the large computers inside. It also includes two mezzanine levels, which function as maintenance catwalks.
When it opened in 2010, the Yahoo! anchored building was one of the world’s most energy-efficient data centers. This state-of-the-art facility leveraged Lockport, NY’s cool climate to reduce energy costs.
