Project Overview
The building at 141 Elm Street was constructed in three phases between 1878 and the 1920s. Originally, it housed the E.M. Hager & Sons Planing Mill, one of Buffalo’s most successful contractors at the time. In 2012, TM Montante Development acquired the building and in collaboration with Montante Construction restored the former mill to optimal condition, preserving its historic qualities while integrating modern energy technologies to reduce both energy costs and carbon footprint.
