One of the core tenets of Montante Group’s revitalization plan was a commitment to diverse and sustainable development in the fullest sense of the term – economic, social, and environmental. The apartments, located on a long-vacant parking lot and adjacent to market rate residential units, provide an affordable option for the diverse neighborhood.
Montante Construction was hired to manage the building’s construction into a mixed income facility for people aged 55 years and older. Montante Construction worked collaboratively with People Inc. and their other project partners during site selection and design development to ensure that the project reflected the architectural fabric of the historic neighborhood and attained the support of the community.
