Montante Construction completed the adaptive reuse renovation of 50 Gates in the City of Buffalo, transforming the 11,200-square-foot building into a mixed-use facility. The project now includes a garden-level commercial space and 12 residential apartments.

Project Overview

Built in 1968, the building is a classic example of midcentury modern medical office architecture. Montante Construction restored the building, preserving its historic character while integrating modern technologies for a contemporary living and working environment.
This project is part of the broader Lancaster Square initiative with TM Montante Development, aimed at transforming the former Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital site into a vibrant mixed-use urban hub. The development will feature residential apartments, senior housing, Class A office spaces, and neighborhood retail.
