Robert Peters
Vice President, Montante Construction
Robert Peters is the Vice President of Montante Construction, overseeing all preconstruction activities and construction operations from project initiation to completion. He manages overall strategy, operations, and project delivery, playing a key role in the company’s growth and efficiency. Since joining Montante Construction, Rob has been instrumental in expanding self-perform construction capabilities, improving efficiency, quality, and cost control.
Rob started as an intern and advanced to Senior Project Manager at LP Ciminelli. He then joined LeChase Construction before moving to Montante Construction as a Project Director. In August 2020, he was promoted to Vice President of Montante Construction.
With over 18 years of experience, Rob has managed more than $500 million in projects, including major developments for the University at Buffalo, the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Children’s Museum, Amazon, Old Dominion, Coca-Cola, IMA Life, and Graham Engineering. He has extensive expertise in various project delivery methods, including Guaranteed Maximum Price contracts and Construction Manager as Agent for the Owner.
Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an Associate of Science in Engineering Science from Alfred State. He is actively involved with the Associated General Contractors (AGC) and other community organizations, reinforcing his commitment to the construction industry.
