Robert Peters
Vice President, Montante Construction
Robert Peters is Vice President of Montante Construction. He is responsible for overall project oversight including all pre-construction activities and construction operations throughout the duration of the project. Mr. Peters has the experience and expertise to guide the project from initiation to final completion.
Prior to joining Montante Construction, Mr. Peters was Senior Project Manager at LeChase Construction and has more than 18 years of experience in the local construction industry. He has worked on several significant local projects, including Explore & More, The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Children’s Museum, Chautauqua Institution Amphitheater Renewal project, University at Buffalo’s School of Architecture, Hayes Hall, and University at Buffalo’s Sophomore Student Housing Building, Greiner Hall. He also spent several years working on the Buffalo Public Schools Renovation Program and other local school districts throughout Western New York. Throughout his career, Mr. Peters has successfully managed projects totaling more than $300 million.
Mr. Peters has extensive experience in delivering construction projects with different delivery systems, including Guaranteed Maximum Price contracts and Construction Manager as agent for Owner. He is a LEED accredited professional and has completed 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety Training. Mr. Peters holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an Associate of Science in Engineering Science from Alfred State.
