As Chief Estimator for Montante Construction, Ian oversees the estimating process for all projects, ensuring accurate and competitive cost assessments. His responsibilities include managing bid proposals, conducting cost analyses, and developing detailed budgets and construction schedules. Ian collaborates with project teams to refine designs within budget, leads value-engineering efforts to optimize costs without compromising quality, and maintains strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors.

Ian also led the implementation of advanced estimating tools, processes, and initiatives that are now integral to Montante Construction’s preconstruction operations. Additionally, he played a key role in developing the company’s self-perform construction team, reducing reliance on subcontractors while enhancing efficiency and quality control.

Before joining Montante Construction, Ian worked as a mason for a local concrete company, served as a field technician for SJB Services, and held estimator roles at LP Ciminelli Construction Corp and Ellicott Development. His construction experience spans office, retail, industrial, warehouse, medical, and residential facilities.

He earned a bachelor's degree in business from SUNY Alfred.
