Byron Deluke
Executive Director of Preconstruction & Development Services
Byron DeLuke is executive director of development and preconstruction for Montante Construction. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the project delivery process prior to the start of construction, ranging from planning and due diligence to entitlements, design development and permitting. Byron oversees a passionate team of professionals, who collectively enable Montante Construction to offer a unique suite of development and preconstruction services to its Clients.
Byron joined Montante Construction as a seasoned public administrator. He worked as a senior budget analyst and appropriations staffer for the Colorado General Assembly. He developed state departmental budgets while acting as liaison between the public, business, and elected officials. He also served as legislative manager for the National Association of Clean Water Agencies in Washington D.C., where he managed legislative and regulatory programs on behalf of the nation’s largest utilities.
Byron has applied his expertise in public administration and legislative affairs to build a development and preconstruction department that enables Montante Construction to take on larger and more complex projects. These require cooperation with key stakeholders in the community, as well as with local, state and federal governments. Since joining Montante, he has successfully delivered more than $250 million in development projects into construction for his Clients.
